Previous appointments include: Managing Director of Titanium Media; Publishing Director of EMAP Australia; Group Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Pacific Publications; General Manager of Newsstand Magazines at Fairfax; Associate Publisher of Fairfax Lifestyle Media; Editor-in-Chief of ELLE; Managing Editor of Cosmopolitan; Associate Publisher & Editor of Sunday Life; Editor of Dolly; Launch Editor of Australian Good Taste. She is a Director of Newfashion.com.au, Netball Australia and The Cell and Gene Trust. Marina has an MBA (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management, a BA (Mass Communications) from Macquarie University, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Yaz Turker has always had a penchant for beauty products, treatments, writing and pampering in general: a prime candidate for a beauty journalist. Having started her career as beauty assistant at marie claire, learning 285 ways to look gorgeous and get glowing, Yaz moved over to beauty edit a weekly gossip magazine, Famous. There she learned that Katherine Heigl loves Kerastase Conditioner because, “It smells like fresh laundry,” and that Ashlee Simpson has unbelievably sensitive skin. Now at PRIMPED, Yaz is immersed in the world of widgets and webby stuff, but with the tasty flavour of beauty (phew). Scanning all the latest news, reviews and product launches, she’s a little beauty Cluedo, deciphering all the best (and worst) beauty snippets and dishing them out with fun and finesse and a fashion-forward top knot.

Alicia commenced her journalism career at Elle magazine in Australia where she worked for five years before relocating to New York. Based in Manhattan for the following five years, she wrote for Elle, Elle.com and the award-winning lifestyle and travel publication Williams-Sonoma Taste, before becoming Beauty Editor for Bloomingdale's B Magazine.
Before launching The Knot in Australia Alicia was editor of the fashion website whatswhat.com.au for three years. She is currently too committed to planning every other wedding in Australia to tie the knot herself.
